In-I album dropping May 1 on Bandcamp

Peace ya’ll!

Thank you to everyone who still checks in on my stories once in a while. It seems I’m at the rate of posting once a year at this point. I feel it is important to have a virtual trail of this journey even if it’s just for a select number of supporters and myself.

I didn’t think a year ago we would be nearly two hundred days into an ethnic cleaning and geno and ecocide in Palestine funded by Israel and the United States and countless other states and entities that are actively in support of this type of violence.

I am beside myself and I am beside you all - in that I know I/We are not alone. Though it has felt self-serving to share about myself, my art, and the journeys of the cultures and communities I am part of at this time, it is all the more necessary for us to create and share stories now. Our art can dismantle wars and disarm even the most addicted and traumatized war monger and I truly believe that.

In-I is an album that shares more honestly of who I am and where I am from, but also who we are and what we are going through as a species that is struggle to survive and all one another to survive. I have prayed and practiced for almost a decade for some of the songs and messages in this album, hoping it will land in the mind, body, soul, and heart of the listener. What Grows in our Dreams become our Blessed Futures.

Here’s a sneak preview of the track list as a thank you for stopping by. Main photo by Derek “DC” Cannon, Background photo by Noel Camba, Design by Yours Treely.
