GEM is a recovery & self-discovery project created by musical couple Soultree & DC. DC produced the entire album and Soultree wrote and performed each song after a time of near-death moved them from their Chicago roots back to Tongvaar (Los Angeles).

Made entirely in Living Room and Bedroom studios just a few months prior to the pandemic, the process of bringing this album to life from 2019 to date has proved beautiful, challenging and worthy of the name GEM.

The music and the journey of this album speak to believing, trusting, and uplifting the GEM in I and the GEM in WE.
