I drafted this in 2019, but didn’t post it until this today two years later. I don’t know why I do these things, but here’s to just posting and sharing the journey.
Every year of life has its phases. I wanted to share a little chronological map of my migration and evolution through my lifeline. I do this for myself as much as for anyone else.
There is a lot that is lost and gained in the shift and shuffle of migration. Sometimes we moved out of force, sometimes out of choice, sometimes the force happened decades and centuries before the choice came so it’s unclear.
I hope in my practicing this documentation for myself that others will be encouraged to map out their lives meaningfully & reflectively in reverent pause in order to observe and raise their awareness of their past, expand appreciation for where they are, what they can do, and who they can be now, and fortify & bless your journey towards the future.
This by no means going to be an extensive recap & I intend to do more interpretations of life based on time & migration in the future, so I hope you enjoy this mini-journey with me. We will focus on place, time, the lessons & blessings of these migrations in relationship to how they grew and informed my personhood.
