Aenōṃṃan! Peace! Kapayapaan!
I am Soultree & this is my creative journey.
I am an artist, vocalist, emcee, storyteller, and creator.
Through my music and holistic work at SHHAA, Sustainable Holistic Healing Arts & Activations, I am shifting myself and the world around me.
Bio
Soultree is a Pilipinx queer, and genderfluid artist, creatrix, and connector of Waray, Pangasinan, Ilokano, and Ilonggo ancesTree and Marshallese cultural influence and upbringing. Soultree uses prayers, chants, songs, moveMeants, and co-creations to uplift unseen spirits and untold stories.
Their decade's worth of community organizing informs their arts and the way they curate and hold space centering those most vulnerable and directly impacted by state violence. Their music is genre-full drawing inspiration from their cultural islander and spiritual upbringing, Spiritual, Filipino Folk, Reggae, Classical, Pop, Jazz, Hip-Hop, and Rap.
They released three albums Soultree EP (2019), Malaginto (2020), & GEM (2022) and launched SHHAA, Sustainable Holistic Healing Arts, and Activations, Spring 2020 where they offer reiki, tarot, body work, and herbal medicine. Soultree is a founding member of the Babaelan Collective, which centers holistic healing through herbs, sounds, and cultural community gatherings.
Through performances, workshops, and community curations, Soultree applies years of political organizing and cultural consciousness raising into the music and holistic healing arts work they provide through SHHAA. As a Pilipinx person raised in the Marshall Islands, they offer 15 years of workshop experience on cultural climate change, immigrants rights, healing through voice, writing, music, and expression, sound healing, herbal medicine, and the ways energetic like reiki, tarot reading, and other modalities and practices to all communities.

SHHAA
the practice behind the music
I sustain my artistry through holistic services, products, and experiences I offer and co-create with my communities. Wherever I am, I am creating Sustainable Holistic Healing Arts & Activations aka SHHAA pronounced like “siya”, the gender neutral pronoun of many languages in the Philippines.
